Watami Group established in 1982, started off in the Japanese dining-out restaurant business with the key concept of providing a place for all occasions and a comfortable space. In 1992, the Ishokuya concept “Watami” was developed, with 600 domestic outlets and 30 overseas outlets, of different operation types currently established.

Watami will be opening our first restaurant in Singapore in June 2009 and the recruitment drive for our opening staff is now on!

Japanese Restaurant - Hall Manager
Responsibilities:
• Build, develop and guide a strong team
• Create a energetic and motivating environment for staff to work in
• Perform roster planning for the service crew
• Act as a facilitator between the management and the restaurant
• Ensure smooth operations and cleanliness in the restaurant
• Ensure compliance to operations standards and procedures
• Ensure excellent delivery of customer service
• Handle customers’ feedback professionally
• Manage the inventory and ensure sufficient supply at all times

Requirements:
• Fresh Diploma/Degree graduates are encouraged to apply as training will be provided
 OR ‘N’ or ‘O’ level holders with 2-3 years relevant experience
• Have a keen interest in restaurant operations
• Outgoing personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Energetic, proactive and self-motivated
• Observant and able to multi-task in a fast pace environment
• Service-oriented with a positive and friendly attitude
• People-oriented team player, as well as hands-on leader
• Willing to work shift hours, weekends and public holidays

Japanese Restaurant - Kitchen Manager
Responsibilities:
• Build, develop and guide a strong team

• Act as a facilitator between the management and the restaurant
• Oversee food preparation and ensure the quality and quantity of food orders
• Ensure smooth and efficient flow of work
• Manage the inventory and ensure sufficient supply at all times
• Monitor sanitation practices to ensure compliance with standards and regulations

Requirements:
• Fresh Diploma/Degree graduates are encouraged to apply as training will be provided
 OR ‘N’ or ‘O’ level holders with 2-3 years relevant experience
• Have a keen interest in restaurant operations
• Outgoing personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
